DaDong, a very elegant and quiet restaurant, which is located in the centre of the city. It’s not as famous as Quanjude, but it’s super popular with local consumers in Beijing. Dishes here change along the season, to ensure that ingredients are fresh and in season, the dishes are healthy and palatable. The appearance of their meals are beautiful and innovative as well. For instance, the Cherry Foie Gras is one of my favourite dishes, which looks like cherry but actually is foie gras. Its Taste is not fishy nor greasy, combined with hawthorn, it is incomparably delicious~ Fishing alone in snow is another good example. Staff there even can perform a mini-show in order to display the culture and the history behind this plate of spareribs with brown sauce.
